Don’t Just Visit, Share It!™
Every journey is a story waiting to be told. This campaign invites students to capture and share the moments that make their educational travel experiences unforgettable — from awe-inspiring landmarks to real-world learning in action. By connecting their adventures through photos, videos, reflections, and creative content, students become global storytellers, building bridges between cultures and inspiring others to explore, learn, and share.
Because travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about the impact you make when you share it with the world.

Isobel’s journey began behind the scenes—literally—traveling the globe and working on film sets with her family. With over 40 countries visited and three lived in, she brings a deeply personal understanding of global education to everything she creates. That early exposure to diverse cultures and creative storytelling fuels her passion for designing immersive, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire connection.
Isobel holds a bachelor’s degree from Flagler College, a master’s from Penn State, and a higher education teaching certificate from Harvard. Today, she leads the development of innovative student programs that turn the world into a classroom.
Ryen DeToro brings precision, organization, and a global mindset to her role at Florida Film & STEM Academy. A proud Purdue University graduate, Ryen ensures every program runs smoothly—from behind-the-scenes coordination to on-the-ground support.
Her passion for global learning grew through her work with Learning Enterprises, where she volunteered as an English teacher in Croatia and later served as Program Director in Poland. These international experiences deepened her commitment to creating seamless, enriching opportunities for students from around the world.
With over 30 years of experience producing award-winning documentary films for major global broadcasters, Kay brings a lifetime of storytelling and educational expertise to FFSA. Her passion for global learning has taken her to more than 100 countries, where she has worked with local communities and experts alike to develop meaningful and impactful content and educational initiatives.
Kay is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), a former Board Advisor to the National Geographic Society’s All Roads Film Project, and a retired UK School Governor. She has served on numerous international committees focused on cultural education and the arts, contributing her expertise to initiatives that bridge creativity, learning, and global citizenship.
Stefanie Robinson co-founded Florida Film & STEM Academy in 2010 alongside Kay Hill and David Haynes and has helped grow the program into a thriving creative hub that has inspired thousands of students over the past two decades.
“Creativity has always been a part of my life,” Stefanie shares. Raised in Miami, she developed a passion for the performing arts early on, eventually attending the prestigious New World School of the Arts. From there, she set her sights on a career rooted in creativity.
Over the years, Stefanie worked closely with Kay and David, producing television content for networks such as National Geographic, Netflix, and more—all while continuing to build and expand the film academy. Her deep industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and passion for the arts make her an exceptional guide for students embarking on their own creative journeys.
David Haynes was a visionary photographer and cinematographer whose extraordinary work helped shape the creative direction of FFSA. With a career that spanned continents and disciplines, David captured some of the world’s most ambitious engineering feats and natural wonders with unmatched artistry and precision.
His work for National Geographic’s Megastructures series included iconic projects such as the CERN Large Hadron Collider, the Ice Hotel, the Hoover Dam Bridge, and Spaceport America—bringing to life not just the scale of these marvels, but the human stories behind them. He also traveled the globe in pursuit of the planet’s most spectacular natural events, always seeking to inspire through the lens of discovery.
David’s legacy continues to influence our programs and inspire our students to see the world through a creative and curious eye.
