Italy: Sustainable Farming & Food Systems is a 10-day immersive experience that takes students from the bustling streets of Rome to the rolling hills of Tuscany and the cultural heart of Florence. Through hands-on experiences in regenerative farming, urban agriculture, and culinary transformation, students explore the interconnected systems that feed our planet—and our future.
From composting and seed-saving to cooking workshops and zero-waste innovations, this program is a deep dive into the science, history, and sustainability of food. Along the way, students work in teams on a sustainability challenge project that connects global learning with real-world solutions they can bring back home.

Kenya: Conservation, Culture & Sustainability is a 10-day immersive journey into the heart of East Africa’s environmental and cultural landscapes. From Nairobi’s urban wildlife reserves to the sweeping plains of the Maasai Mara and the lush ecosystems surrounding Mount Kenya, students explore real-world solutions to global conservation challenges.
Through hands-on service projects, traditional knowledge exchange, and encounters with endangered wildlife, students gain a powerful understanding of what it means to protect biodiversity, honor Indigenous leadership, and build sustainable futures. The program culminates in student-led sustainability innovation projects that bridge what they’ve learned in Kenya with ideas for positive change in their home communities.
New Zealand: Environmental Innovation

New Zealand Environmental Innovation Program is a 10-day experiential learning journey that empowers students to explore the intersection of science, sustainability, and Indigenous knowledge in one of the world’s most ecologically and culturally unique environments.
From the geothermal wonders of Rotorua to Auckland’s coastal ecosystems, students engage in workshops, conservation projects, and cross-cultural exchanges that deepen their understanding of environmental science and community-led stewardship.
Each day blends hands-on learning with real-world problem solving as students work toward creating their own conservation initiative that can be implemented in their home communities.
Biome Innovation in the Pacific Northwest

Florida Film and STEM Academy (FFSA) immerses students in the breathtaking landscapes of Vancouver, Canada, where coastal mountains meet the Pacific Ocean and the temperate rainforest thrives. Students will explore this rich and complex biome while working together to design innovative, sustainable technologies that protect and preserve a specific aspect of the ecosystem of their choice.
Over eight unforgettable days, participants will engage in field studies, connect with researchers and cultural experts, and investigate the delicate balance between environmental health and human activity. They’ll learn how science, technology, and traditional ecological knowledge can work together to safeguard biodiversity in one of the most diverse and resilient habitats on Earth.
The temperate rainforest of British Columbia is more than just an ecosystem—it’s a living network of interdependent species, ancient landscapes, and cultural heritage. From the towering cedars of Stanley Park to the alpine meadows of Grouse Mountain, students will gain first-hand insight into the environmental challenges facing these forests and the innovative solutions shaping their future.
