London Filmmaking Experience

Join Florida Film and STEM Academy (FFSA) for a one-of-a-kind film production intensive in London, a city that inspires countless films and creative artists to continue to tell stories.
This high-caliber program takes students through the entire production pipeline of a film or television show, from script to screen. Each day unlocks a new phase of the creative process, offering hands-on workshops, expert mentorship, and behind-the-scenes access to industry-grade tools and techniques.
During the week, students will work on-site at Pinewood Studios, one of the world’s most iconic film production campuses. Here, they’ll gain hands-on experience in professional-grade facilities, engage in workshops led by industry experts, and immerse themselves in the same creative environment where global blockbusters are made.

Step into the world of filmmaking with Florida Film and STEM Academy’s immersive film production program set inside Universal Studios Florida. This one-of-a-kind experience blends hands-on workshops with real studio energy, empowering students to write, direct, and produce their own short films—right in the middle of a world-class working theme park.
Throughout the week, students train with professionals from FFSA and participate in workshops hosted by Universal Orlando, giving them access to studio-level tools, creative strategies, and behind-the-scenes knowledge. From storyboarding to post-production, students collaborate like a real film crew, with each role filled by the students themselves. Their journey culminates in a screening of their completed short films—celebrating not only what they’ve created, but how they’ve worked together to bring it to life.
Whether students are passionate about cinematography, directing, editing, or acting, this program offers them a direct connection to industry-standard production and a dynamic look into what careers in film truly feel like.
